Frequently people have problems with material at the bottom of a page the page number, for example, or the footer not printing correctly. Often, the characters get cut in half so that only the top half of the line prints. The most common cause of this problem is that the bottom margin, footer margin, or page border is outside the printable area of the page.
The footer of my page has a margin at the bottom and is not the same as the video I was wondering if there is something I need to add to the CSS? This is what worked for me.
A footer is the last element on the page. At a minimum it is at the bottom of the viewport, or lower if the page content is taller than the viewport. Simple, right?
The margin-bottom property sets the bottom margin of an element. Top and bottom margins of elements are sometimes collapsed into a single margin that is equal to the largest of the two margins. This does not happen on horizontal left and right margins!
The page dimensions in a L a T e X document are highly configurable and the geometry package offers a simple way to change the length and layout of different elements such as the paper size, margins, footnote, header, orientation, etc. Suppose you have to create a document in a4paper and the text shouldn't exceed 6 in width and 8 in height. To create it with geometry is easy, include this one line in the preamble:.
You can see the layout here. The problem I have is to create a consistent top and bottom margin of 15px between the content the green part with the text and the photo above and the footer the red part below, no matter the amount of content. For the sticky footer I use the negative top margin method.
