Five females and one male from ages 16 to 19 have been charged with home invasion and assault. Some are charged with using a computer to commit a crime. They're accused of pulling a year-old girl out of a Flint home and repeatedly beating her for several minutes.

An year-old man pleaded not guilty this week after he was charged with six felony counts of assaulting another teenager in Long Beach in an attack that was caught on video, authorities said. Bryan Blancas of Long Beach and two juveniles were arrested Tuesday by police. Blancas faces one count of assault with a deadly weapon, one count of assault by means of force likely to cause great bodily injury, two counts of violation of civil rights, one count of dissuading a witness by force or threat and one count of battery, prosecutors said. The charges also include an allegation that the assault was committed for the benefit, or at the direction of, and in association with a criminal street gang, prosecutors said.
